The Future Of Solar Energy For Home Owners

I think that everyone is familiar with Solar Panels and home owners using alternative energy sources. Even if some people cannot yet envision themselves with the big , shiny solar panels propped up on the roof of their homes – most everybody is very aware of the shift in Global Energy ideas.

So it was no real shock when I read a report that describes a future where electricity production is geared towards single home-owners and communities instead of bigger electricity production plants and facilities.

What has been discussed is VERY EXCITING.

And NOT only for our home needs -but for future endeavors , like electric vehicles.

And what really makes this development so amazing, atleast to me, is that the saving and using of solar energy in the future, will actually be completely sustainable in poorer areas. It will be like a total flip from where we are now- where it costs more money for the panels -but we save alot more money by using them.

The actual development, is a practical, inexpensive storage system for achieving personalized solar energy. At its heart is an innovative catalyst that splits water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen that become fuel for producing electricity in a fuel cell. The new oxygen-evolving catalyst works like photosynthesis, the method plants use to make energy, producing clean energy from sunlight and water.

Thankfully we are inching closer and closer to a time when we all may use solar energy for our homes – as the norm.
