But when we release that much extra carbon and other gases into the atmosphere, we are bound to speed up the process.

Thats a HUGE reason why Solar Panels are considered Green. They simply use the Suns ready Made energy, and convert it into energy that we can use -and even save,

And other than preventing the added atmospheric pollution -using Homemade Solar Panels will help to prevent things like Acid Rain or Smog. And because Solar Energy needs no fuel – it DOES NOT add the current oil problems either.
